Conscious canine communication is disciplined attention. You observe before labelling, place behaviour in sequence and context, and consider the dog’s signals together with human action and environmental conditions.

A useful response is clear, safe, respectful, reversible, and observable. The goal is not certainty about hidden intentions; it is better decisions based on better observation.
